OneVision
Two-week assessment

Project Health Check

An independent read on whether the date is real.

Two weeks inside a live program, ending in a written verdict on what is salvageable, what a credible date and cost look like, and whether continuing is the right decision.

Duration
2 weeks
Format
Independent review of configuration, test evidence, scope, and team capacity
Investment
Scoped per engagement

Draft for review — Draft agenda. Confirm the duration, sessions, and deliverables against how OneVision actually runs this. Pricing reads “Scoped per engagement” until a published figure is agreed.

Who this is for

  • Executives whose program has slipped more than once and who no longer trust the status report
  • Boards or sponsors deciding whether to approve additional funding for a transformation in flight
  • Internal program leads who know the date is not real and need an independent voice to say it

Who it is not for

  • Sponsors who need the assessment to reach a predetermined conclusion
  • Programs where the incumbent integrator has not been told a review is happening — this works far better in the open

What happens

The agenda, in order

  1. Days 1–3

    Evidence, not status

We go to the configuration, the test results, the defect log, and the scope backlog directly. Status reports are read, but they are treated as a claim to verify rather than a source.

  2. Days 4–7

    Team and capacity interviews

Confidential conversations with the people doing the work. In a troubled program they usually know exactly what is wrong and have not been asked in a setting where they could say it.

  3. Days 8–10

    Scope and date reconstruction

We rebuild the plan bottom-up from remaining scope and real velocity to produce a date we would stand behind, and price the gap to get there.

  4. Verdict

Written, with the stop option costed

A written verdict delivered to the sponsor: continue as-is, continue with intervention, restructure, or stop — each with a cost and a risk. The stop option is always costed, because sometimes it is the right answer.

What you keep

Deliverables

Yours to keep regardless of whether you engage us for the work that follows. If you take this to another firm, that is a legitimate outcome.

  • A written verdict with a credible date and cost to complete
  • A findings register separating technical, scope, and governance causes
  • A scope triage recommendation — day-one need versus deferrable versus drop
  • A costed stop / restructure option, presented alongside continuing
  • A sponsor readout, delivered live and open to challenge
